Ruengrawee Ketphol is The Asia Foundation's Senior Program Coordinator, in Thailand, where she manages and develops programs in Thailand and Laos focused on women's empowerment, human rights, legal and constitutional reform, local governance, development of legal aid programs for tsunami survivors, and civic/voter education. She developed and implemented training curriculums for gender, human rights, and local governance training. She also serves as regional advisor for the Foundation's programs on trafficking in persons and violence against women for the countries in the Mekong subregion.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Ketphol was a human rights master trainer with the United Nations Border Relief Operation (UNBRO) Information Program. She also spent several years working with Indochinese refugees with the Joint Voluntary Agency, U.S. Embassy in Bangkok. She is the founding member of the Women and the Constitution Network. She also served as advisor to the Standing Committee on Human Rights, Women's Affairs, and various sub-committees focusing on human rights, gender, justice administration, and health issues.

Education: B.A. in political science from Ramkhamkaeng University, Bangkok; M.A. in political science focusing on Justice System Administration at Kasetsart University, Bangkok.
