The Asia Foundation

Dave Andrews joined The Asia Foundation's board of trustees in 2001. He currently serves as a Senior Fellow for Corporate Governance at the National Chamber Foundation, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Andrews also serves on the Board of Directors of UnionBanCal Corporation and Union Bank of California and on the Board of Directors of PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He recently retired from PepsiCo, the world's fourth largest food and beverage company where he served as the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs, General Counsel, and Secretary. Before joining PepsiCo, Mr. Andrews was a partner in the law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown and Enersen and served as it's Chairman from 1991-1994. In 1997 he was nominated by President Clinton to be the 19th legal adviser to the U.S. Department of State and served until 2000 when he was appointed ambassador and special negotiator for Iran/U.S. Claims.
