Nobuko Sakurai has worked as a freelance translator since 2005. Previously, she worked for the Forma Corporation in Tokyo and was responsible for planning and coordinating many financial and cultural forums and conferences sponsored by American and French firms. She has had extensive experience as a technical translator working in Japanese, English, and French and as an analyst compiling information on Japanese businesses in the US. She holds a B.A. degree in French Studies from University of Tokyo and an M.A. degree in French Studies from American University in Washington DC. She is a member of The Consular Women’s Club of New York and The Cosmopolitan Club.
