Contribute to Change
Help us make a difference in Asia by donating to one of our funds below.
For more than fifty years, The Asia Foundation's Books for Asia Program has distributed books and educational materials to libraries, schools and other institutions throughout the Asia-Pacific. Your support can help rebuild libraries, stock depleted collections, and improve education for people of all ages.
Focus is on legal reform, training for migrant women workers, support for the emerging non-profit sector and women's organizations, and constructive U.S.-China relations. Your support can make a difference in addressing challenges that have arisen through China's rapid economic rise, and helping those who have been left behind.
Your contribution helps pave the way for environmentally sensitive practices and policies, gives communities the tools to effectively manage their own natural resources, helps communities build resilience to climate change, and supports the next generation of leaders.
Your annual gift to the Women's Program of $1,000 or more will bring you into the Lotus Circle, an exceptional community of people making a significant commitment to The Asia Foundation's cutting-edge work promoting women's rights and opportunities. Members of the Lotus Circle receive reports on our Women's Program initiatives, The Asia Foundation Bulletin quarterly newsletter, and exclusive invitations to special events and opportunities to travel with us to see firsthand the impact of their commitment and financial support.
Young girls from poor families in Vietnam face many struggles when seeking an education - often, they have to leave school at an early age to support their family by working, which makes them more vulnerable to trafficking. Your support will provide these girls with the opportunity to stay in school and break the cycle of poverty.
Committed to giving women and girls the means to improve their lives and the voice to make a difference. Your gift will empower women in Asia through increasing girls' access to education and other high priority projects that aim to reduce trafficking and violence against women and to expand women’s political and economic opportunities.
