Mohna Ansari is a passionate advocate for women's legal rights and opportunities in Nepal. In secondary school, Ms. Ansari was inspired by an Asia Foundation legal rights education program for girls. She became the first member of her family to graduate from college—and went on to become the only female Muslim attorney in Nepal. Recently, she successfully argued a landmark case for a woman to claim her legal right to family property.
