Part 1 of 9: Thai Hill Tribes: The work of IMPECT in northern Thailand

 In the remote areas of northern Thailand, an ethnically diverse group of tribes live far from civilization and any form of government services that are usually afforded to Thai persons. The Inter Mountain Peoples Education and Culture in Thailand Association (IMPECT) has stepped in as the very first organization to work for the hill tribes. Through awareness and education, IMPECT hopes to empower the hill tribe women and assist them in becoming leaders of their local communities and governments.
