As Thai families and communities continue to rebuild following the tsunami, they are still confronted by numerous legal problems. The Asia Foundation, through hundreds of volunteer paralegals, provides legal aid services to tsunami victims to secure legal identification and access to post-tsunami services; re-establish titles concerning land ownership; and facilitate adoption of children orphaned in the disaster.
