Polling Afghan Citizens for 2011 Survey
The Asia Foundation interviewed 6,348 adult Afghans, across all 34 provinces of Afghanistan in face-to-face interviews for the 2011 Survey of the Afghan People, the broadest, most comprehensive public opinion poll in the country. This survey is the seventh in The Asia Foundation's series of surveys conducted in Afghanistan; taken together they provide a barometer of Afghan public opinion over time. Each interview usually takes between 45-90 minutes. This slideshow captures the survey team as they travel the diverse provinces of Afghanistan, and the individuals as they provide their opinions on security, corruption, women's rights, the economy, development, peace and reconciliation, and the overall direction of Afghanistan.
