Access to Justice in Timor-Leste
In a country where local courts are very new and the legal framework is rapidly changing, local citizens often have little access to legal information and dispute resolution mechanisms. The Asia Foundation supports groups of Timorese lawyers who provide free legal aid services to communities across Timor-Leste, including the remote Oecussi district.
