Wat Thatthong School is a small kindergarten school with 348 students located within Wat Thatthong temple. The student body is diverse; presently, the school has Thai, Indian, Burmese, Cambodian, Lao, American-Thai, Nepalese, and disabled students. Many of their parents are low- to middle-class and make their living as motor-taxi drivers, street food sellers, police, or teachers.

While the school has a library, it struggles to keep its collection up-to-date with an annual book acquisition budget of about $6 per student. Parents unfortunately cannot afford to buy books.
