The Asia Foundation

Every four years, The Asia Foundation convenes a series of high-level workshops in Asia and the United States to review the current state and future direction of Asia-U.S. relations. The Southeast Asia meetings are held in Singapore and have been chaired by Singapore's Ambassador-at-Large, Professor Tommy Koh.

Release of findings and recommendations of companion reports compiled in "America's Role in Asia: Asian and American Views," with public events in Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Seminar in New Delhi to launch the "America's Role in Asia" report in India.

A half-day event to release The Asia Foundation's "American's Role in Asia" report in Shanghai; Participants included scholars, media representatives, and business representatives.
